Checkup in my 38 weeks of pregnancy

I am enjoying my maternity leave now..felt so relaxed and good..supposed to be on maternity leave on 4th April but i just can't wait to leave my office and don't want to face my sickening boss again..so i took in advance and started my maternity leave on 28th March instead..keke..went high tea with Fanny @ Cova yesterday, 29th March 2011. After that we went shopping at Daiso followed by pasta and drink at coffeeclub @ Wheellock Place..left around 7plus and i went to look for dear dear since he is having coffee with Wenji. Went checkup today..i started to feel pain in the stomach..this pain happen on and off and i asked the Dr Koh why was it so and his replied was that because i am nearer to my due date as such i am starting to feel the slight pain...at first i still thought Rayden is arriving and i am trying to talk to Rayden, telling him that he needs to arrive only next week and not this week...lolz..Dr Koh did the ultrasound scan for us to see Rayden and let us hear his heart beat..everything was fine and good...he even told me that Rayden is in head down position but not very low yet so chances of delivering this week is very low..70% would be next week delivery..luckily my Rayden is a good boy and he does heard me telling him to only arrive next week..hehe..so happy :) But next checkup would be next week on the 6th April 2011. I guess it should be my last checkup before my due date..haha..hopefully everything goes well for me and i can deliver Rayden smoothly and fast too..giving birth to a healthy Rayden :). Most importantly, i can get to see him and carry him..touch and feel him..feeling very anxious and excited day by day..counting down daily reminding myself about his arrival soon..the feeling is so great but at the same time is also quite scary to me as i do have my fear about how the whole delivery process would be and whether can i take it and go through it without epidural..praying hard that everything goes well :) Liwen, mummy and me had a busy afternoon..we were busy tidying up my room, making space for Rayden's playpen and also the confinement lady to sleep when she arrived...spring cleaning the whole room to get rid of the dust etc..i packed Rayden's clothes into my cupboard as well..hehe..after doing everything, we were all so tired and hungry..had porridge, beehoon etc.. So tired...

I am so so tired and sleepy..my eyes are like closing any time :( Was not able to sleep well the whole of last night due to the umpteen times of waking up in the middle of the night to go for my toilet breaks..sigh..one night i needed to wake up at least 4 times for toilet..each time upon waking up..i find it hard to get back to sleep...this morning i just felt so tired till i don't feel like coming to work at all..but still i got no choice but to come..i am hoping for time to pass asap because i have confirmed on my ML starting from 28th March onwards instead of 4th April..reason being i simply got no more mood to work and also too tired to come work..just want to grab some rest before baby Rayden arrival :)

Ah dear is so nice and sweet to help me massage whenever i have leg crumps or aching leg pain...best part was that i felt hot even when we turn on the aircon and that i have the tendency of not covering myself with blankets when i go to bed..ah dear will always cover the blanket for me after i doze off..hehe..every morning, he will wake up without fail to send me to work, fetch me off work and send me home to see my dog, zeus :) thanks so much dear dear..

Last night, we went to compasspoint, kiddy palace to shop for mat, kodomo baby laundry detergent, baby swaddle and Johnson & Johnson baby powder for Rayden :) Finally we are done with all the shopping and preparation for Rayden's arrival..so happy..the most happiest thing is that i am bringing forward my ML...don't have to see or face shitty people and bosses around me..shiok..

My next check up would be on 30th March morning..so looking forward..because by then in another 1 week's time will be the arrival of Rayden..hehe..wonder what will be his weight by the next check up???lolz..ok, shall stop here and continue to blog whenever i am free ya..

Week 36 checkup

Went for checkup again..so happy and excited :) This time round waited for less than 15 mins then is my turn already all thanks to ah dear for helping me to get the Q number first..keke...Dr Koh mentioned that Rayden is already in head down position..as such, he will arrive slightly one week earlier than the EDD. Dr Koh started to brief me on the delivery process..starting from contraction pain..explaining to me that if i see blood, it must be something like menses day 1 type of flow..that means i need to go and see him immediately as Rayden is coming..if i feel menses crump pain..if it is only lasting for 30 - 45 seconds..there is no hurry to rush to the hospital..i need to wait till the menses crump is every interval of 5 mins and lasting for 1 hour..then i need to rush to hospital..means Rayden is alerting us that he is arriving real soon..upon hearing all these, i am very very happy and excited but at the same time i am scared..fearful of the delivery process and pain..really hope and pray hard for a smooth delivery with reduced pain :)

Rayden is now 2.863 kgs..he really grew very fast.. in another 2 weeks time i will go for the next checkup..after that about 1 week more he will arrived and see us..everything have been prepared for him..last week, we bought his pram, playpen and other stuffs too. As for me, i bought the Avent single electronic breast pump..hopefully Rayden know how to latch on well..

So happy because we finally able to get the flat that we wanted...yesterday we went for our HDB appt to select the flat that we have balloted for Punggol Topaz..imagine our Q number was 504 when the units available was 542 units..at first we still feel that we will only be able to get only level 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 only..yet we got level 14..yeah..we paid the option fee of 2K and now wait for 4 months later to paid the 10% downpayment etc..pray hard that our flat will complete earlier than expected..when our new flat arrived, 3 of us will be able to have our home sweet home togehter...hehe :)

These few days i never go work due to bad flu and headache and hopefully i can recover fast and go back to work tomorrow...was on mc on Mon and today..yesterday took halfday leave due to the bad flu and unable to stand it at all..alright shall stop here and update again after the next checkup..hehe..

Checkup on 28th Feb 2011

Went for checkup on 28th Feb, my dear darling is so mischievous..he never let us see him at all..he was turning his back against us when the doctor Koh was doing the ultrasound scan for us to view..haiz..end up we could only see his back...can't see his face etc..now he grew bigger..he is already 2.503 kgs..keke..luckily..i only put on 300 grams while he absorb 700 grams..since i gained 1 kgs from the past 3 weeks after the last checkup...

Now i am again looking forward to the next check up in another 2 weeks time in order to see him..hopefully the next visit, he will be good boy..let us see his face..haha..nowadays he is getting more and more stronger each day..day by day i sense, feel his strong movements around me..now everyday he learning kungfu inside me..at times he will also use his head to knock against my stomach..at the same time, he also love to box or kick me..think he really take me as his kungfu rival..lolz..but i am happy to know that he is growing well day by day..being so active and able to let me know that he is well and good..having a good time in my stomach..haha..

Now i am already 34 weeks of pregnancy..left with another 6 more weeks to go then i can see him..dear dear say when he is born, he don't dare to carry him because he feels that baby is soft and hard to carry...lolz..he only will dare to carry his son when he is sitting down..haha..for me is i can't wait to be able to see him and carry him..breastfeed him..spending time with him and taking care of him..

We will be going to TAKA baby fair next sat in order to do all the last minute shopping for all the stuffs for Rayden..keke..needed to do a checklist man..we need to get the breastpump, pram, playpen, diapers, towels etc..hopefully can managed to shop and get everything done asap...hehe..then we can just wait for the arrival of our little prince :) I praying hard for smooth delivery for a healthy Rayden and hope that he listen to me..arrive on the early of April instead of Mid April..lolz..because we have already booked the NSRCC for his full month celebration on the 7th of May 2011..
