Rayden is so active

Rayden is so active...i can feel his strong movement inside my stomach..the feeling is so great :) He is always kicking me without fail and his kicks are getting more and more frequent..he can kick me 3 to 4 times a day..every night before i sleep he will kick me..then before i wake up he will start to kick me early in the morning around 6am..

My MIL say that too active no good because next time he very naughty..but i don't think so..i feel that the move active he is will be better..at least i can feel him more..hehe..i don't believe that being active means naughty..because hubby's 2nd bro told me that his daughter used to be very quiet and not much of a movement at all...but after she was born..her character is totally different, lolz..so i guess being active or not does not prove much..keke..

Initially i don't feel very comfortable to his kicks..but now i am getting more used to it..each time he kick me..i just felt so special..hehe..time passed fast..i am already in my week 24 pregnancy..soon i will get to see Rayden..i just can't wait to see him :) But at the same time i am scared..scared of the pain during delivery..haha..moreover i am still hesitating whether to opt for epidural given that there are friends who are telling me to tolerate the pain because epidural is bad and lots of side effects etc...but i am a person who is very very scared of needle..needless to say that epidural is so long and thick..

Anyway shall ponder over this and decide what to do later..now i am counting down to company xmas and NYE shutdown especially xmas eve because Rayden is celebrating together with me and dear dear..we will be going to Swissotel Merchant Court to spend 3 days 2 nights stay there at the same time to celebrate xmas and to spend some great personal quality time together..yeah..i am so happy and so looking forward to it..i guess Rayden feels the same as me :) Alright..shall end here..

4th Scan & Check-up on 06th December 2010

Went for my 4th check-up last night together with dear dear..it was again another long week despite that ur appointment time was 8pm. I guess this is the usual normal waiting time even though you have appointment..because this was defintely not the first time we waited for so long :( Initially when i stepped into the clinic yesterday, i was so happy because i only saw 2 or 3 people waiting in the clinic..but who knows the nurse told me that today will be a long wait because many patients yet to finish seeing the gynae..lolz..so no choice, me and dear decided to go for a walk at petslover so that i can buy stuffs for zeus..keke.. bought toothpaste, treats etc for him..hehe..

Waited till 10pm then came my turn to see my gynae..so excited..haha...the blood test and detailed scan results was out today and everything is normal and good..then next is the ultrasound scan to see baby Rayden..again he was busy moving around in my tummy..gynae didn't really capture him much in the scan..lolz..i hope my next checkup i can have a fullview scan photo of Rayden..this weekend if can i want to go shop for a a nice album to keep all the scan photos of Rayden :)

My next review checkup would be on 3rd Jan 2011..time really pass fast..i am already in my week 21..approaching week 22 soon..which is considered to be in the mid of the pregnancy..baby Rayden is growing well..his last weigh was 346 grams on 27th November and guess what? His current weight now is 574 grams..he gained 228 grams within 1 week..lolz..this explained why i am gaining 2 more kgs within 1 month..haha..just to console myself..keke..

It going to be a long wait before i get to see Rayden again..sob sob..ok, shall end here..

Detailed Scan Done on 27th November 2010

Had my detailed scan done last Sat...Rayden was not very co-operative..he was moving here and there playing around and turning here and there..it was rather tough to take his shots..especially he was facing down and can only took his spine shots. Waited for half an hour and was busy asking him to turn and look up so that we could take his shots on his face, heart, legs, hands and his nose etc...this naughty boy is really very playful..

After all the shots been taken, the nurse went out to get Ray to come in..to let him see Rayden and also his developments etc..the nurse commented that Rayden had very nice and sharp nose..Mr Ray was so happy and thick skin saying that Rayden has his nice genes..omg..Rayden was rather well-behaved when the dad came in to see him..he totally turn over and did not show his spine and back to us...we could hear his heart beat through the scan and also can see his heart beat pounding too..is so amazing to see this especially when there is a little life inside a small tummy..

After the scan, we went back to mum's place to rest...i was so happy to see Rayden and i am looking forward to my next gynae visit on 6th December...now Rayden is my drive :) Whenever i see him, the feeling is always so special, so unique and undescribable..is always so nice, happy and sweet to see him..i just hope that Rayden can be a healthy baby :) So far, he is weighing 346 grams and it was commented that this is a good weight for the current week of pregnancy i am in now which i am glad to hear that Rayden is eating and growing well..hehe..

We had dinner at home, my favourite macaroni that mummy cook for me..keke..i took 2 big bowls.lolz..after dinner, we head down to meet desmond and buddy because i needed to get a maternity 3-quarter pant to wear for the 2nd & 3rd sessions of my pre-natal class. So happy, attending the pre-natal classes soon..first lesson will commence on this coming Friday, 3rd December 2010..keke..Reach Marina square around 8pm..went to mothercare to see the pants but none is nice and those that is nice does not have the sizes for me..sigh :( So went to the maternity house to see, tried the 3-quarter pants and also few dresses and tops..end up instead of buying just a 3-quarter pants, i bought 2 dresses and 1 top plus the pant :) Although it was ex but then it was worth it because is very comfortable to wear and most importantly, i needed these clothes :) Total damage was $229 after 20% discount..before less was $277..hehe..

Third Scan on 09th November 2010..the time has comes..

Everybody is guessing and discussing the gender of our baby :) We both wanted a baby girl..but both parents of ours wanted a baby boy..many of them claim that they feel that mine is a baby boy and i challenged them that is a baby girl..lolz..but today will be the time to know the final results..which inside my heart i also have a six sense that it will be a baby boy after so many hearsay etc..we reached the gynae place around 7pm. Waited from 7pm till 9pm then comes our turn to go in..the gynae was usual was crapping with us..then he also told us that today we can get to find out the gender of our baby..and then he asked, you guys prefer girl or boy? Then we both replied that we wanted a baby girl..then he smile and started to do the scan for me..the gynae then key the alphabet G on the screen of the scan..then i was so happy and shouted yeah, our baby is a girl..then he laugh and tell me G can stands for many things and he type in full, GUY..lolz..how lame can he be? Knowing the fact that we both wanted a girl, so he trying to just con us..but then again, we are still very happy..because we just want our baby to be healthy..

After the scan, anxious dear started to sms his bro and sisters, informing them that it was a baby boy :) My dad was so happy to hear that..ever since pregnant, whatever i asked from dad, he always ok with it..keke..this is a good chance to request for certain food craving from dear dear too..hehe..now i need to wait till 27th November for the next detailed scan at Thomson Medical in order to see my boy again..we have been thinking on names..wanted to name him with name that starts with J, however up to no vain..end up i decided to name my boy, Rayden :) dear dear is so lucky that our son share the first 3 alphabet of his name..haha..

Second Scan 09th October 2010

Times passed fast but yet to me it was considered very slow because i waited for 1 month in order to see my baby development again..so great and happy that today can visit the gynae again..hehe..ah dear accompany me there..we waited for 3 hours..damn long..but it was worthwhile..there is really no words to describe my feelings of joy whenever i see baby :) Baby has grew from 2.18cm to 7.61cm. The gynae gave me folic acid to take for 1 month before i visit him again. Went home to rest and took my late lunch before rushing down to the bridal shop to do the gown testing for tea dress..mummy went together with us..we even bought dessert back to eat..hehe..

I have never regretted my decision of keeping my baby and proceeding into another chapter of my life together with dear and baby..from 4 weeks of pregnancy to 8 weeks of pregnancy as of now..it was defintely not a easy task for me..i experience bad morning and night sickness...i can't take rice at all..because it will get worst..the only food i had for dinner would be porridge..sigh..unable to take too oily stuffs, too sweet or salty stuff is not a issue for me..however unable to take cold drinks was rather tough for me during days of hot weather..omg..but no choice, i had to stop myself and endure with it for the sake of baby..but i think the other problem i face would be caffine..unable to take caffine when i am in fact a heavy coffee drinker..every morning i need a cup of coffee to keep me awake..especially now during pregnancy, i tend to be very lethargic and gets tired very easily yet i am unable to drink coffee..haiz..but once awhile i still take a few sips just to ease my craving..

Having to cope with stress at work & boss during this pregnancy period, we were also busy preparing for our wedding..many things we need to prepare..such as booking of hotels, printing of invitation cards, food tasting, sending of invitation cards, RSVP, bridal shop, taking wedding shoots etc..this was really very very tiring for me..but still i managed to press on because i know that ah dear is the one that i want to be with who can give me the assurance, love and care i need..i am sure baby will feel the say way as me..hehe..i shall update more on baby after the next visit..keke..the next visit is also the time whereby we can get to know the gender, stay tuned :)

OSCAR & Blood Test on 02nd October 2010

This is the most stressful one of all throughout my whole pregnancy..because today was the OSCAR scan together with the blood test..i am very fearful of injections and needles since young..and today i need to take my blood test as we need to ensure that baby is safe without any down syndrome..i was very proud of myself that i managed to overcome this fear..perhaps is due to baby..i am also glad that it was not as painful as what i thought :) We woke up at 8plus and left the house at 9plus to Thomson Medical to do the test..because the appointment was full, we had to go as walk-in patients..the queue was very very long..after payment and registering to get the number, we went to have our breakfast..food was ok only..then we walked around before going up to wait..it was another long wait..waited till 11.30am then I had the ultrasound scan followed by blood test..went home around 12plus..was very tired..

We have to wait for the results to reach the gynae and we will get to know it during our next visit on 09th October 2010..hope everything is well and fine :) But i am very happy today because i can see baby from the scan..baby was very well behaved commented by the nurse..she has no issues of getting the clear shots of baby from the scan..which the whole process only took less than 10 mins..hehe..

Now my only hope is that baby is safe and sound and that i can have a smooth pregnancy and delivery when the time comes..i can't wait to see the arrival of my baby..spending the sweet moments together and of course my 4 months of maternity leave whereby i can have the strong bonding with baby and dear :)

First Scan On 08/09/2010

Both me and dear were rather excited and looking forward to see our baby...waited for so long to see the gynae..dear was so nice to buy me pancake to eat while waiting..we waited for almost 3 hours for our turn..omg..but is defintely worth the wait..hehe..because we get to see our baby :)

Initially i was still a little worried because after all is my first time being a mummy..never thought that i would be one either...i guess is the same for dear too..during the scan, we not only get to see baby through the scan, the gynae even joke to us and let us hear the baby heart beat..he was telling us let's listen to our national day song..lolz..

Now i am getting more and more excited..every gynae check is something that i am always looking forward too..because is the only way that i can get to see my baby :) Having baby within my stomach is something so wonderful and amazing..at the same time i am gaining more and more weight..lolz..i hope i don't go overweight..otherwise i sure faint..hard to slim down..shall update more after the next scan ya..keke
